WinSCP is a Windows based SFTP transfer program. SFTP stands for SSH File Transfer Protocol, commonly used in Linux or Unix servers. WinSCP allows simple file transfer between a Windows machine and Linux/Unix server. If the user has enough permissions, he can create folders, move, rename or delete files on the server. It can also issue Linux/Unix commands via SSH session.

一般使用 WINSCP 連線到 LINUX 系統會出現亂碼，原因是伺服器端使用 UTF-8 編碼。
如遇到這種情況，在建立連線時， 設定
Environment > SFTP > Server does not use UTF-8 為 OFF
這樣會強迫 Winscp 用 UTF-8 連線
