osCommerce 是一套用 PHP 來撰寫的網上購物系統，不需要撰寫任何程式，在短時間裏建立一個購物網站。它的基本功能有支援客戶註冊、購物車、購物流程、接受客戶對每一個產品的意見、支援網上安全機制（SSL）、自動排列最受歡迎的產品等。一般的管理者可以在線上管理大部份的設定，如增加或移除貨品、檢閱新定單等。透過安裝模組的方式，可以增加其它的功能如訂單統計，利用 Microsoft Excel 來匯入貨品資料等。
