Moodle provides an online teaching platform, allow students to register interesting courses and browse course content online. All students is given an account, they can register new courses, read course content, participate in forums, download relevant course files, and perform live chat with the teacher. On the teacher side, they have additional controls to publish/maintain course contents and files, release assignment and collect students' works, design quiz and tests to be completed online. The whole system supports multiple display languages, customizable themes and third-party modules.
