Pidgin is an IM program which runs on Windows, Linux, and other UNIX operating systems. It is compatible with many IM networks. Like MSN, Yahoo, AOL, ICQ, Google Talk, IRC, Gadu-Gadu and MySpaceIM etc. Pidgin supports many features of the various IM networks, such as file transfer, away messages etc. In addition, you can use messages, sound effects or running programs to notify you when your buddies changed his status.
