eZ Publish is a Content Management System (CMS), a system administrator can choose to install different "package" during installation, so that it becomes a Corporate Portal, Online Forum, eCommerce, Blog or an Intranet Website almost right after the installation. All contents can be added, modified or deleted using the backend panel (for administrators) or using the front-end editor (for registered users). Moreover, it supports Webdav protocol for managing website contents or binary files easily; it is often easier to use than similar methods like FTP or SSH protocol.
